Welcome to the next installment of the arcade game tutorial. You've understood the trigonometry in our tutorial on Detecting the Mouse Angle and you're gun resembles the death star after Weapon Manufacturing 101. Now we are going to look at making your game check if the laser movie has hit a ship object.
Move your mouse around the black window below to see laser checking in action:
Tip: Instead of Hit appearing in red letters consider adding explosion sound effects, visuals and giving the ship object some interactivity. For instance allow the user to manuovuer it using the arrow keys or allow it to use a shield and fire back!
