' Ok. You should now have a shadow movie clip, a character movie clip, and a sun movie clip. Now, delete the shadow symbol. Yes. Click on it ONCE and press delete, so you remove it from the stage. Open the library (Control + L, or window - library) Look for the shadow, it should be there. If it is, then good. Now, right click and select linkage Give it the identifier "shadow" (no quotes) and press Ok. You can close the library if you want. Now select our character (in my case its a tree), and open up the actions window (F9 or Window - Development Panels - Actions) '
