keyDirection
ActionScript
Just below the timeline click on Scene 1. Now click one on the person and copy and paste the following code.
onClipEvent (load) {
speed = 2;
}
onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
if (key.isdown(key.RIGHT)) {
play();
_rotation = 90;
_x+= speed;
}
if (key.isdown(key.LEFT)) {
play();
_rotation = 270;
_x-= speed;
}
if (key.isdown(key.UP)) {
play();
_rotation = 0;
_y-= speed;
}
if (key.isdown(key.DOWN)) {
play();
_rotation = 180;
_y+= speed;
}
if (key.isdown(key.RIGHT) && key.isdown(key.UP)) {
_rotation = 45;
}
if (key.isdown(key.LEFT) && key.isdown(key.UP)) {
_rotation = 315;
}
if (key.isdown(key.RIGHT) && key.isdown(key.DOWN)) {
_rotation = 135;
}
if (key.isdown(key.LEFT) && key.isdown(key.DOWN)) {
_rotation = 225;
}
}
At the beginning where it says speed = 2 change the number 2 to a speed of your choice.(The bigger the number the faster it will go). Now finally, double click just below the timeline where it says 12.0 fps. Now, in the pop up screen change the fps to 48.0.
Well done! I hope this helps you!
