Now download the zipped files and extract them to the site root folder. It contains the swf file “ready for start” and the fla file if you want to edit the layout. The swf file MUST reside in the same folder where “poll_index.php” resides.

Administration: Adding questions and answers

This is the most fun part and we’re almost there. Browse to the “admin” folder. Again open your text editor and paste the following script:

Warning: You have the change the parameters for the database connection to match you database! Look at the first lines of the code.

Save the file as “add_question.php” in the “admin” folder. Now run “add_question.php” in your browser: www.myserver.com/admin/add_question.php. Complete the form and press OK. You will always use this for if you want to add new polls. If you have only 2 or 3 answers, simply leave the other fields blank.

That’s all, now run the poll : www.myserver.com/poll_index.php
