Creating Movie Symbol

In the given fla file I have used a movie symbol (called music) which has a sound track in it.

To create a movie symbol select insert and click New symbol or use the keyboard shortcut CTRL + F8 . Now you will see the Symbol properties dialog box enter name for the symbol in the name field and select the behavior you want for the symbol.

After you create your symbol open library by selecting Windows / library or using keyboard shortcut CTRL + L in the library you should see a symbol with the given name. (The symbol name is music in the tutorial file.)

Now place the symbol in the scene and give an instance name to it by selecting Windows from the menu and select Panel and click on Instance.

Now in the dialog box enter the instance name for the movie clip.
