1) Are those software all for free?>
Yes, except Polderbits Sound Recorder. However, you may try it out for 30 days I think, without software locks or restrictions. Buy it, it's worth it. It does what i says it does.
2) How come RADVideo does not convert my .mov to .avi?
If the process screen just closes, it is probably due to the lack of memory to process the task. Try scaling the movie to a smaller size. I really don't know if this has a direct effect on the memory consumption, but I usually encounter this problem when the dimensions of the movie I am converting is 720x480 or bigger.
3) Flash doesn't export to .mov. I get this message "The installed version of Quicktime does not have a handler for this type of Macromedia Flash movie. Please consult the documentation for further information."
You'll probably encounter this when using flash MX/MX 2004. Go to File>Publish Settings. In the Flash tab, Select Flash Player 5 for the version. Then export your movie to .mov...it should work now.
For further questions, you may contact me(email@example.com). Please put "Flash Tutorial" in the topic so that I wouldn't consider it as junk mail. (Do not attach your files without me telling you to or else I won't open it. ) That's all for now. Hope I was able to help you guys. Happy Conversion. :D
