Now for the conversion...
STEP 1:
Publish your flash movie in .mov format. (File> Export> *.mov extension)
STEP 2:
Open the RADvideo folder. I know, there are a lot of programs. don't be intimidated. Open radvideo.exe. Browse and select the .mov file you just converted. Click on the convert a file button.
STEP 3:
Browse the directory wherein you want to save it and change it to the name you want. By default is should be ready to convert to .avi format, but just to be safe, click on output type and select AVI file".
STEP 4:
Check the convert video" checkbox and uncheck convert audio.
STEP 5:
There are lots of fields there, and you may opt to study the manual to know those functions, but for now, all you have to do is to fill up to data fields.
(a) In the frame rate control, left part, look for this field --Force (no adding or removing) to: and enter the frame rate of your flash movie. I'm assuming yours is 29-30 since that is the normal VCD framerate.
(b) In the Frame size (cropping): --There are two Width and Height fields there. Fill the ones on the rightmost. Enter the movie dimensions(ex: 360x240). Click on the Scaling type button, select Highest quality(bi-cubic).
