Step 3: facial

once you have your model giving him a face will be your next step. what you should have for your models three versions of each body part i.e head for 3/4 view, another for the front view and a third for the side view. to create the facial elements right click on the head symbol of your model and click on edit in place.

you will need a layer for each element of your characters face.

now draw each part of you characters face on each layer. and convert them all to symbols. remember to draw several different mouth shapes in order to make lip syncing easier.

here's a quick example

That's it. once you have created you face you can design the body how ever you want. and remember that the more you practice creating character modles the better you will get.

Tip: Try creating character models of yourself and friends

» Description: Hmm... what to say about this one? It's reminiscent of the closing notes of the opening music from the Three Stooges done in a church organ style with a closing cymbal crash. I'll give this one away gratis, but feel free to check out my free loops and potential upcoming license-mandated ones over in the respective part of Flashkit.
