Make a layer “button” above image layer. Make a square, circle or rectangle somewhere in the center of the movie, fill it with any color, select it, press F8 (or, Insert>Convert to symbol), name symbol “mc” without quotation marks, and choose movie clip for behavior. Right click on the symbol, name it “mc” in the Instance Options Name box, right click again and choose edit in place. Select symbol again, press F8 and this time choose button for behavior. Right click on button, choose edit in place and drag frame UP to frame HIT. That makes button invisible. Get back to “mc”” Double click on the only frame in “mc” to open properties, click on actions and choose Drag movie clip, check lock to the center, and for target do not have to enter anything. Applying drag action to the frame will drag invisible movie clip as soon as you move mouse over it. Now we have to add actions to the button. In the main timeline we want to create some variables. Because we want the movie to be triggered by moving mouse by few pixels in either direction, we have to make the position of the mouse (reflected by position of invisible movie clip) to be the difference between position when it is clicked and dragged.
