Step 5:
Ok, now we are going to make the arrow move towards the text and fade in at
the same time so we can have a cool effect (now you know why we changed the
alpha to 0%!). So, to do this, we will make a keyframe on frame 15.Now on frame
15 on you need to navigate the arrow so it is right next to the text (I just
used the right arrow key). So on frame 15 you should have an invisible arrow
next to your text (WTF?). So, to make this better, on 15, make the alpha value
100%. now you press enter to see it, and it looks stupid because your arrow
just pops in...well to make this look better, right click anywhere inbetween
frames 2 and 15 and create a motion tween. Now your arrow should work properly,
and you should have something like the picture below.
Step 6:
You are probably getting tired about now! well, not much left to do! So, for
this step, we need to add a stop action to frame 15 (I dont need to tell you
or show you how to do that or else you shouldnt be in this tutorial). After
that stop action on frame 15, make a keyframe at 16 for both layers. then make
another keyframe at frame 22. On frame 22, you need to change the alpha of the
arrow to 0% again. then inbetween 16 and 22, make a motion tween. Then, finally,
on frame 22, put one last stop action. then you are done with your movie clip!
cool eh? Make sure it looks like the screenshot below.
