Step 3: Now, we will make a new layer, and create our animation, but before we do that,
we must apply a stop(); action to frame 1, then make a new keyframe on frame
2, and we will start the animation on frame 2 so when the user is not over the
button, all they see is text (frame 1). so click on frame one, open the actions
panel, make sure you are in expert mode, then type in "stop();" without the
quotation marks. You have now written your first part of the actions!! (don't
get too excited). now, create one new layer and call it "arrow". You should
now have something like the below picture. Now, since we have our new layer with our stop action on the first frame, we
can go ahead and add a keyframe to each layer by pressing f6 on the next frame.
This is where the animation starts. The frame 2 of the arrow layer should still
have a hollow circle on it, meaning there is nothing on that frame. So lets
add something to that frame! We are going to draw an arrow, doesnt matter how
you draw it, I just used the line tool and held shift for accurate lines. Ok
so on frame 2 of the arrow layer, we have an arrow that is kind of far away
on the left of the text. now convert your arrow to a symbol, pressing f8 with
the arrow selected, then choose graphic as its behavior.However, we dont want
the arrow to just appear there, that would look kind of dumb. So, we will select
the graphic arrow and click on it once, and in the properties panel, change
the alpha value to 0%, you will see why later.You should have something like
the below picture now.
