Well, lets get started! B.T.W, during this tutorial, if you notice, all of the screenshots have 12.0 fps applied to them, for a better clip, use 30 fps for this tutorial.

Create your new button (I just drew a rectangle to make the box my text will be in). Convert it to a movie clip by pressing f8 and choosing behavior as a movie clip before you write your text on it.
Step 2:

Now, double click your movie clip to edit it, then write your text on top of your button, i just wrote "My Button". On frame one, you should have something like the picture below.
Ok, so now we have created our movie clip with the text, all we need is an animation that will happen when we rollover the button, and when we rollout of the button. So,if you are prepared, move on to step 3.
