Now you see the Define Clip Parameters dialog box. Click the plus button to add a new smartclip 'property'. Basically, this is a pointer to the variable of the same name inside the movie clip. Double click the name of this new item and type caption. You can then decide to enter a default value or not. This will be the default value given to new instances of the smartclip.
