Declare Properties

We now have two variables: caption, which contains the text we want shown on our screen, and url, which contains the web address we want to display when the button is clicked.

Step 3 : Convert to Smart Clip

To turn our run of the mill movie clip into a smart clip, hit Ctrl-L to display the symbol library. Next right click the smartclip and choose Define Clip Parameters.
