Now let's take a look at how the code works.
The first line declares a variable called numberOfElements which will be used to define the size of the array.
numberOfElements = 50;
The next line declares an array which will hold numbers from 1 to numberOfElements, in ascending order.
myNumbers = new Array(numberOfElements);
The next line declares the final array which will hold numbers from 1 to numberOfElements, in random order.
randomNumbers = new Array(numberOfElements);
The for loop, below, is used to populate the array myNumbers with sequential numbers from 1 to numberOfElements.
for(i=0;i<%lt%>numberOfElements;i++){
myNumbers[i] = i+1;
}
The next few lines of code form the section where the random number array is generated.
The temporaty variable, i, is declared to hold the current position in the randomNumbers array.
i=0;
