Conclusion:

You should now be able to drag and drop objects and make them slide using the TweenLite Class.
You should be able to add SWC files to your projects and you should be eager to find out more about the Greensock library.
You've also been introduced to dispatching custom events and responding to them.

  • Removing counter and objects

Posted by Kelly on 03/21/2014 02:24pm

Hello! This is a great tutorial. Can you please tell me how to remove the counter? I want success to be when all objects are placed in their proper place. I also want only 4 objects instead of 5. I tried to remove "parrot" from the library and from the stage and it breaks the drag and drop code. How can I only have 4 objects without breaking the code? I removed all references to "parrot" in the Game.as file but that didn't help. Is the code in another place? I have not been using AS3 very long. Thank you in advance for your help.

  • Number of Objects and Timer

Posted by Kelly on 03/21/2014 02:20pm

This is a really great tutorial, I am wondering how to disable the timer, make success based on all the objects placed in its correct place and how to remove an object without breaking the drag and drop activity? I only wanted 4 objects and I've tried to remove "parrot" from the stage and I tried removing it from the library but it breaks the drag and drop function every time. :-( I also removed all references of "parrot" from the GAME.as file. Is there some place else I need to remove it from? Thank you in advance for your help.

I'll give this one away gratis, but feel free to check out my free loops and potential upcoming license-mandated ones over in the respective part of Flashkit.
