Step 7: Adding Action Scripting to the Reset Button

When the user selects the reset button we want the form to be cleared of all input. We will give the reset button the action to set all variables (FirstName, LastName, ect.) to nothing.

Start by right clicking on the reset button and selecting Actions from the menu that appears. In the Actions panel click on the "+" sign. Select Actions, set variable. In the field titled Variable type in "FirstName". We want to leave the field titled Value blank because when the user selects the reset button Flash will set the variable to whatever you name the Value here. In this case we don't want the value to be anything so leave it blank. Make the rest of the variables (LastName, email, and FeedBack) blank.
