2. Then we have to make these things: - A graphic (ctrl F8 or apple F8) Make your own design of a mousecursor. This will always be on top of your movie and will be your MOUSECURSOR the whole time! MAKE SURE that the toppoint (your clickpoint) of your mousecursor hits the cross (+) on your buttonstage
- Make another graphic and design your cursor while you CLICK. (So this will appear in the Movie when you click with your mousebutton) Make it something nice! You can name it everthing you want! MAKE SURE that the toppoint of your mousecursor hits the cross (+) on your buttonstage
What do we have now: We have 2 graphics, which will both be used for the mouse cursor, one which will always appear and one which will only appear when you CLICK!
- A button. Create a button by pressing again CTRL F8 or go to Insert > New Symbol. Choose Button. Name it what you want. Press 3 times F6. Or just look at your layers and be sure that it only has a HIT! Create a little hitbutton with your Oval tool (O). It has to be not large, only You can see it. BE SURE up/over/down ARE EMPTY! (otherwise delete them with backspace)
- Create a movieclip. Name it what you want. Insert a NEW Layer and place the First mousecursor in it. BE WARE that the TOPPOINT of the cursor hits The cross (+) on your movieclipstage. Then press F7 to insert a blank keyframe and put the other CLICK button in. BEWARE that this button is on the same X/Y coörd. as the one before.
3. Well then, this couldn't be difficult if you've a little expierence with flash. But always make sure that you work with the + which is always in the middel of your screen. Up to the last steps...
4. In your other layer of your movieclip, select the first one and hit F6. AGAIN select the first one and double click, or right click and select actions. Choose: Basic actions > STOP.
5. Then apple L or CTRL L for the library and get your HITBUTTON in there. Place it EXACTLY on your TOPPOINT of your mousecursor, YESSS the + VERY GOOD. Right click ON THE HITBUTTON, not on your frames. Choose: Basic Actions > Go to > Select FRAME 2
6. Easy going. Then return to your MAINSTAGE. Ad an new layer, place new keyframe F6. Place the MOVIECLIP with your mousecursors and rightclick on the MOVIECLIP: Place these actions.
onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
this._y = _root._ymouse;
this._x = _root._xmouse;
Mouse.hide();
}
