How To Make A Movie Clip Run Backwards

5. In your movie clip's editing mode, add three keyframes, name the second "loop" and enter the following actions:
           frame 1 :

          stop ();

   
           frame 2 :

          _parent.prevFrame();

      (you need to turn to expert mode to enter that)
   
           frame 3 :

          gotoAndPlay ("loop");

   
       
   This loop will make the "ball MC" run backwards.

   "back MC" movie clip

   

6. Double click "ball MC" on the library to edit it.
   
7. Add another new layer, put an instance of "back MC" on this layer and name it.
       (in this example the instance name is "back")

   "ball MC" movie clip
