As you can see there is no shortage of different properties that you can extract from a movie clip. It just comes down to identifying what information you require then using a combination of functions and actionscript to obtain it.

That's it for functions! There are some other functions that haven't been mentioned here as this tutorial is only meant to be an introduction. These will appear an a more comprehensive list in a later tutorial. Don't forget that you will probably be suffering from some initial confusion. Actionscripting wasn't meant to be understood straight away. Understanding comes from experimenting and asking questions.
