1. Movie contents.

  1. The movie contains 5 buttons.
  2. The 5 buttons were manually placed into a movie clip symbol called "menu", aligned and grouped. 4 additional copies of the grouped buttons were made and aligned end to end so that the menu symbol contained 25 buttons. The menu movie symbol was then linked by using Linkage in the options menu of the library.

  3. The identifier (name used in ActionScript to refer to this clip) was set to "menuMovie" and the "Export this symbol" button was selected.

  4. An empty clip called holder was also generated and was linked as described above and given the name "holderMovie".
