Getting Started

Create a new file, 400x160.

The Picture

The next step is to import (Ctrl+R) your file into flash and create a new movie clip (Ctrl+F8) call image to house it. To make life easier I've place the top left corner of the image on the registration mark like so:

Now create another movie clip (Ctrl+F8), call it slide object and place an instance of image called 'image' on the first frame.

Duplicating Code

In addition you should also add the following code to the first frame:

Comment: --------------------------------------------
Comment: Make duplicate of picture
Comment: --------------------------------------------
Comment: tmi=total duplicates (2)
Comment: dup=new movie duplicates
Comment: image=original movie
Comment: --------------------------------------------
Set Variable: "m" = 0
Set Variable: "tmi" = 2
Loop While (m<(tmi*2)-1)
      Set Variable: "m" = m+1
      Set Variable: "dup" = "image"&m
	  Comment: --------------------------------------------
Comment: Depth of this layer and depth of picture layer CANT be the same. So in this layer I
add 1 to the depth to make sure of that.
 	  Comment: --------------------------------------------
Duplicate Movie Clip ("image", dup, m+1)
Set Property (dup, X Position) = GetProperty (dup, _x) + m*GetProperty (dup, _width)
End Loop

Once you have returned to the main timeline, place an instance of slider object called 'picture' on the layer 'bitmap'.

» Description: Hmm... what to say about this one? It's reminiscent of the closing notes of the opening music from the Three Stooges done in a church organ style with a closing cymbal crash. I'll give this one away gratis, but feel free to check out my free loops and potential upcoming license-mandated ones over in the respective part of Flashkit.
