Step 5 : Introduce a counter:

The next step is to start a counter to check when you have hit the target and when you have missed the target. In your main scene draw a textfield using the textbox icon, and name it `total`. This will then be the running total of the hits on the object. Back in the target movie clip add this code on what we have already done.

On (Release)
      Begin Tell Target ("../total")
            Set Variable: "total" = total + 1
      End Tell Target
End On
Now each time you click on the object the total will increase by 1 each time.
The code for the target movie should now look like:

» Description: Hmm... what to say about this one? It's reminiscent of the closing notes of the opening music from the Three Stooges done in a church organ style with a closing cymbal crash. I'll give this one away gratis, but feel free to check out my free loops and potential upcoming license-mandated ones over in the respective part of Flashkit.
