Create yourself a new Flash file with the below parameters :

Stage size = 600px X 400px

Now make yourself a symbol (preferably circular, squares and triangles don't work so well for this) with the below parameters :

Symbol size = 25px 25px

You can add colour if you want, but this isn't essential. Now we have our symbol, we need to convert it to a Movie clip, do this by pressing F8, give it any name you wish as the AS does not rely on naming, leave the registration point centered and make sure Movie Clip is selected.
