  1. Now for the actionscript (i know, i know, but it's easier than you think..). Right click on your sliderclip, then go to actions. You're going to need three basic actions for this.
      • Click on the plus sign, then go to actions\onClipEvent, select "mouse down"
      • Click on the plus sign again, then go to actions\startDrag
      • Here you need to input some fields. check "constrain to rectangle", and "lock mouse to center"
      • L, R, T, and B represent left, right, top and bottom respectively. If your bar is vertical, fill in the top and bottom fields. If your bar is horizontal, fill in the left and right fields.
      • Now, remember how you needed to know the length of your bar? Take that number, divide it by 2, then put the negative and positive intergers of that in the two fields you're supposed to fill in (ie barlength = 200 | 200/2 = 100, so then the numbers would be 100 and -100).
    1. Go to actions\onClipEvent, select "mouse up" -go to actions\stopDrag .
      • Go to actions\onClipEvent, select "mouse move"
      • Go to actions\evaluate.
      • type “_root.object._xscale = _root.barclip.sliderclip._y” (_xscale can be replaced by any of the other properties [ie. _x, _alpha, etc.], and if your bar is horizontal, then replace _y with _x).
      • Go to actions\evaluate.
      • Type “updateAfterEvent”.
  2. Whew, done all the hard stuff. Okay, now double click on the outside of the clip, then create another movieclip in the workspace and name it “object”.
  3. Hit CTRL + L, then type “object” in the text field.

Done, finished, completed, whatever. I hope this was somewhat informative to you, if you have any questions, feel free to email me . there are some adjustments and manipulations you can do with this, so feel free to be creative.

» Description: Hmm... what to say about this one? It's reminiscent of the closing notes of the opening music from the Three Stooges done in a church organ style with a closing cymbal crash. I'll give this one away gratis, but feel free to check out my free loops and potential upcoming license-mandated ones over in the respective part of Flashkit.
