Actions of the Crosshair

The Crosshair

Here comes the magic. From the main timeline, click on your crosshair movie clip (once). Now press F9 to bring up the actions. Make sure to switch to expert mode.

Now, copy and paste the follwing actions in the crosshair's actions:

onClipEvent(enterFrame) {
	this._x = _root._xmouse;
	this._y = _root._ymouse;

What does this do?

onClipEvent(enterFrame) { this._x = _root._xmouse; this._y = _root._ymouse; mouse.hide(); } Simply says on every frame this action will occur. onClipEvent(enterFrame) { this._x = _root._xmouse; this._y = _root._ymouse; mouse.hide(); } Takes wherever the X axis mouse is, and puts the crosshair in it's posistion. onClipEvent(enterFrame) { this._x = _root._xmouse; this._y = _root._ymouse; mouse.hide(); } No different, except with the Y axis. onClipEvent(enterFrame) { this._x = _root._xmouse; this._y = _root._ymouse; mouse.hide(); } Self explanatory.

» Description: Hmm... what to say about this one? It's reminiscent of the closing notes of the opening music from the Three Stooges done in a church organ style with a closing cymbal crash. I'll give this one away gratis, but feel free to check out my free loops and potential upcoming license-mandated ones over in the respective part of Flashkit.
