  1. Now select the Timeline Tab and click on the left-most frame (frame zero) in the row beginning with "type text". This should highlight the frame.
  2. Press the Add Effect button and select Typewriter, three below the separator line in the menu.You should now see the Typewriter Effect dialog. Enter 0 (zero) for Flash cursor ... times at start of line. Also enter 0 (zero) for Flash cursor ... times at end of line. Then press OK.

The Timeline should now look like this:
