4. When using 'Wave' try putting a large % in the horizontal and vertical boxes (4/5/600+) and the 'move' as 0 to make the text come right out at you in straight lines (i.e. a wave that moves in and out as apposed to left/right or up/down). When you do this it is advisable to use alpha of about 70/80% otherwise the whole thing becomes unreadable.
5. Try putting minus figures in the horizontal and vertical % box of the 'Wave' to make the text spin in reverse and upside down.
6. As above - try putting one of the % as a minus and one of them a plus - to get reverse or upside down (one or the other).
7. When using Mirror blur i have found that unless the percentages are very small it takes far too long to appear and actually makes the effect look very poor I usually set it on Blur Amount:5 Blur Scale Factor:2 if anything i will sometimes put the blur scale factor up to 5 at the max, otherwise it just wont work (on more powerful machines the difference will be almost unnoticeable but bear in mind others who will be viewing your work on lesser machines).
