After you have re-sized the depth of the symbol, you should add the animation. Switch the color/animation control panel to the animation folders. These two buttons are located in the bottom middle of the main program window by default.
After making the switch, you should see the grid of options shown below in the bottom right of the main program window. As with the colors section, you can also re-size this one as I have done in the screenshot below.
In this animation we want to use the "Right 135 Degree Spin" effect that comes installed with Swift 3D. Drag and drop the predefined animation onto the symbol in the stage. You will notice that the mouse will change when the correct position for dropping the animation onto the symbol has been reached.
After applying the predefined animation to the symbol, the timeline should look like the screenshot clip shown below. Pay close attention to the position of the red marker in the timeline from now on.
