The end

And that's it we have successfully loaded data from a coldfusion page and manipulated it as we need. There are a few things I would like to bring to your attention though:

  • If there are spaces passed by the coldfusion page it can cause problems I have found it good practice to try and remove all spaces.
  • The fla file I have included loads data from text files not cfm but this was just so I could show it working in the tutorial. My fla also contains next and previous buttons and some other elements that I have not covered in the tutorial.

Well that's it from me I hope I have helped someone out there and have got it right, this is my first tutorial. If I have done anything wrong please tell me, or if you know a better way to do this I would be happy to hear from you.

» Description: Hmm... what to say about this one? It's reminiscent of the closing notes of the opening music from the Three Stooges done in a church organ style with a closing cymbal crash. I'll give this one away gratis, but feel free to check out my free loops and potential upcoming license-mandated ones over in the respective part of Flashkit.
