Conclusion

That's it. It takes a little while to get the hang of some of the XML stuff, but if you do, it's a great addition to your flash coding skills. There is an insane amount of free xml content out on the web, from newsfeeds to articles, even links to pertinent graphics. Also, the XML Object in Flash 5 lets you do more than read elements from the XML document. You can add your own, delete elements, move elements, and more!

...but that's for another time.
