Main Tool Bar

Now that we have covered some of the interface let's get into the main toolbar. These are the tool you will access and use most often. Below is an image of the main toolbar. I had to cut the tool bar in half because it is so long. I am on a 17 inch monitor at 1152 x 864 resolution and I can't see the entire thing. When you are working in Max you will sometimes need to scroll the menu left and right. To do this you simply drag your mouse over the toolbar until a hand appears. Then click and drag the desired direction. This is a bit of a nuisance at first but you will get the hang of it.

I have numbered the tools for reference. The description corresponds with the tool number respectively. If you hold the mouse over a button or number its name will appear. Click on it for a description.
