CS2 Feature of the Week - Flash Hot Spots
for Macromedia Flash™ MX
Flash Hot Spots
Flash Hot Spots allow you to add interactivity
to produced Flash SWF movies. Adding interactivity
makes a video more engaging to your viewers, and
allows you to call your viewers to action directly
from the video or presentation. With Flash Hot Spots,
you can create chapters in your presentation, so
that viewers can jump directly to the information
they need easily, or direct them to a website or
specific web content during or after your video's
completion. Flash Hot Spots work when the viewer
clicks directly on the hot spot while watching the
video.
Fast Facts about Flash Hot Spots
You can add as many Flash Hot Spots to
a video as desired.
When a Hot Spot is encountered in a video, the
video will stop until the viewer takes the specified
action. This helps guide the viewer into becoming
engaged in the content.
You can easily and quickly edit and/or delete
Flash Hot Spots after they have been created.
Keeping track of where you have placed Flash
Hot Spots in your pre-production video is easy
with the special Hot Spots track that is created
when you place the first one. They are also noted
on the normal Timeline.
