| »Description | After searching for a working .swf file that gets an external filename from the HTML page that it is contained within, I came to the conclusion that this would be a good resource for others.In a nutshell, this project does several usefull things.1. it plays, pauses, resumes, and rewinds and external audio file.2. it controls volume3. it allows you to use it over and over again without having to re-export the Flash file, because you tell it what MP3 file to play via the HTML page.A simple JavaScript passes the file name into a variable within the .swf, and then the swf controls the external MP3. |
