This example shows a ball that rotates faster as the percent loaded get higher. The ball also moves across a line on the stage. The percent loaded is also shown in text at the bottom. By Mattachoo
This example sows a loading bar where the word "Loading.." changes color as the bar moves over it. Can be modified so the animation, or in my case, the loading bar, to be anything the person wants it to be. Very useful. The analog preloader gage with scripted face includes two slightly different versions. The first version turns the pointer smoothly no matter how many bytes actually are already loaded. Good in case you want to show a small pre movie animation and you want to make sure that it is actually showing while preloading the main part no matter if you got a fast cable/dsl or a slow dial up connection. The second version of the gauge turns the pointer according to the actual percentage of the bytes loaded. A preloader that detects a users internet connection rate. It then sets a flash cookie. When a user returns to the site and the movie is cached and not reloaded, the movie accesses the cookie to determine the previously determined speed.
