I work a lot with dynamic text, creating files for easy localization into other languages. When the text string is localized, the new length of the text string has prevented me from adding an icon or arrow at the end of it. I created this file that shows how I solved my problem. I create a text object using actionscript, find the new length of the text field, and place an icon at the end of the text field via attachMovie. By Pete Peterson
