A simple scroll/shoot game of 3 levels made on Flash 5 in 2002 and now just got the time to put on internet :) Feel free to mess with the *.fla file and/or ask me ;) I am sure the game contains some bugs, at the time of creation the main commands I mastered was duplicateMovieClip, removeMovieclip, hitTest function and of course "if then" condition statement plus some tweening techniques. Hey!
This was a game I created by combine lots and lots of code from different sources that I collected in the Games forum on Flashkit asking questions and whatnot. everyone was extremely helpful! Mostly this comes from Magneto's tutorial game which I found on the web. I added features and changed graphics and am by no means a programmer....just more of a Hack-n-Paste type guy that wishes he had paid attention in Algebra class. :-)
There are certainly a lot of things broken but it seems to play pretty well. It does get boring eventually tho' so good luck making it interesting!

My version of Asteroids. Graphics of asteroids, explosions and the general are borrowed from various sources on the internet and converted to vector. I then retouched and animated the general and the explosion. Music and sound effects, again, from FlashKit. The voice recording is ALL me! :)No high score in this version.. maybe in 2.0... we'll see...
