This small demo illustrates the use of double paralax effects. This is the technique used in many platform games Moving two scenes at different speeds. One scene is seen moving slower behind the other to give the motion more depth.I used this technique to achieve a different effect. I created a mask of a ball and moved a texture underneath it to make the ball appear to be spinning as it bounced. I did not tweek this animation much Keep in mind that more effects can be achived.
