Franklin gothic heavy inspired me to design and create GF Vienna heavy. It looks best at negative spacing.
Is intended to give a feeling of the movies. Like the frames of movie film, these letters are arranged vertically. Type your text in all caps and turn the bit of text 90° clockwise. At the lowercase positions are the letters turned horizontally for normal legibility but more complicated use. Two versions, a positive and a negative. Includes caps only, numbers, punctuation, blank frames, and no accented characters.
Adapted from a pair of analog Art Nouveau fonts. The name isn't so good but that's what it was. Have you ever noticed how some people just love to color things in? I'm not one of them, but they're out there. Giving them something to color may engage them more in your document. You can use the fonts separately or use the Solid as a fill for the Open.
