Adapted from a pair of classic Art Nouveau fonts of the same name. I've seen them illustrated in a couple books--sometimes called Hansa--but never in a digital version. I originally made the "roman" for the poster of a production of "The Secret Garden". Later I made the italic which is even more of a good thing. Includes caps, lowercase, modest punctuation, accented characters, and numbers, plus non-descending versions of certain characters. And now with more international characters!

My digital interpretation of a classic font of the same name. I've seen it in several sources (Dan X. Solo books and Alphabets & other signs by Rothenstein and Gooding), always with this name, but not in digital. A beautiful and graceful italic font, apparently without a matching roman, Galathea was named for Pygmalion's mythical female creation. Because of the steep incline of the letters, a LOT of kerning is employed to make them fit together neatly. If the program you're using doesn't support kerning, you will get very unlovely spacing. (I'm including both TrueType and Type 1 versions which may help in this regard.)Includes upper and lowercase, numbers, punctuation and international characters. Works well paired with a Garamond

Derived from my father's hand printing. I used a recipe he had written out for me (for cole slaw specifically, reproduced above) and rounded it out with other samples from my cookbook. Dad almost always uses a blue ballpoint pen on lined tablet paper, so these shared recipes have a very consistent look. Now I can print them out in his handwriting when he e-mails them! Includes two versions of each letter, punctuation, and numbers.

(All keyboard characters (mostly caps=lower), some foreign/special) -- Font dedicated to my favorite nontrivial power of two. This is like a font made of needles, except they're really big and blunt needles which are bent around into a variety of impossible shapes.

(Caps/Lower [same], numerals (sort of), some punctuation and special) is my first cursive font; it looks best in a program that pays attention to the kerning, though at small sizes it doesn't really matter. This font is for Liz Phair. Come on Liz, put your new album out already! Hand kerned.

That Burlington chap is a fine young man, very neat hand-writing, always the sign of breeding is that, what.

Now that Foxboro lad on the other hand, his just no good. His writing is barely legible, much like his character. A shifter fellow I haven't meet, what.

The weight which modelling agencies tell models is their ideal weight.

Don't use that curlmudgeon of a tone with me young man.

In a distant time long before the humble slice of bread was first eaten, a goddess was worshipped. She stood for all that was dischordant and choatic in the world. She was known to the ancient Greeks as Eris, and would probably have been better suited for now really.
