was extrapolated from the great MAD magazine logo, of course! I loved MAD when I was a kid and remember drawing the 3 letters of the title and imagining what the others would look like. I used a 70s issue of the magazine and looked at a lot of other woodtype--Western and circus--fonts for ideas.
It is not my intention to infringe on any trademarks or copyrights belonging to the magazine. This is in hommage, not a rip-off. So don't use this to make your own MAD magazine or related paraphernalia; use it to write other stuff with! In my version, the upper and lower case are the same. The uppercase letters are kerned real close, like the magazine logo, the lowercase are not. Includes numbers, punctuation, and accented characters. Is yet another comic-book style font. Can be bolded or italicized effectively.
