from?
Brisbane, originally (Go Alfie!)
Where did you
grow up?
Brisbane, Singapore, Adelaide and Canberra.
What are your
pastimes and interests?
Helping to run an animation studio pretty much takes up most of my time, but when I get a moment to myself I indulge in strong liquor and powerful music.
What's your
favorite saying or cliché?
There are no Atheists in a Foxhole.
What's your
favorite movie?
Anything with Penelope Cruz in it.
What's your
favorite cocktail?

When did you
first get involved with flash?
What is your
view of the current use of flash?
We think that there are some talented people out there doing some real groundbreaking stuff, but that there are still unexplored areas of Flash that have yet to be fully exploited. The flexibility of the program has led to unprecedented diversity in animation.
Who do you
feel is advancing the use of flash the most?
All the small teams out there that have realized the freedom that Flash provides and have had the balls and initiative to get their stuff onto the web. The little guys are driving the bus!
Who has been
your greatest inspiration?
Bill Hicks.
Where do you
see the future of flash?
Hopefully we’ll see Flash animation on everything from mobile phones to IMAX screens – and then Flash will help put a man on Mars.
What advice
Ask yourself what you want to SAY with your animation.
What can FK01
attendees expect from you?
A wealth of information and entertainment… and cussin’.
Any closing
words?
Whose shout?
