Where are you
from?
We are living in an old farm-house in the middle of germany
Where did you
grow up?
A small town, surrounded by a lot of german cows
What are your
pastimes and interests?
A lot of sport, friends and work
What's your
favorite saying or cliché?
It´s german. "komm-klar.de"
What's your
favorite movie?
Matrix, Starwars, Alien II, soon final fantasy, I hope
What's your
favorite cocktail?
VodkaRedBull (makes you drunken-fit :)
When did you
first get involved with flash?
Around 1989. I asked "why you don´t use director
for this?" :)
What is your view of the current use of flash?
I think there´s a lot to explore. Everytime macromedia implements
new functions you see the use of half a year later...
Who has been
your greatest inspiration?
My partners Tom and Marc, James (petalien), Peter (nrg.be),
Michael Kronenberg, women, all the manga-stuff, MTV, George
Lucas, James Cameron
Where do you
see the future of flash?
Everywhere. Who wants to see boring html-crap having a DSL
connection at home? (and who really wants to try to design
a good website with html?) I think Flash will be used more
and more in other fields than the pure online production.
What advice
would you give to budding flashers?
Try to make something different. Everytime there´s
a really innovative website half a year everything looks
the same. And you could be the first...
What can FK01
attendees expect from you?
A big surprise, cause we´ll present our latest underground
project. From the dimension of work it could be a production
for the cinema, also it looks like beeing one :) We´ll
present the work behind, previews of upcoming stuff and
tricks about flash-games programming lateron.
Any closing
words?
I think FK01 will get a big fun.
I hope I´ll meet Trinity while hangin around.
