CHEAP Software
hi guys, recieved a email the other day with a link to this site
link removed
they are selling software such as Macromedia Studio MX 2004 for $180! They are OEM versions so you dont get any manuals or boxing etc... but seeing as the non-oem version is $980 i dont care about boxing!
is there any catches? i have read through the website's FAQ's and cant see any - can i use this for business use? i hope so!!!!
cheers
John

I'm not following that link, and I can already tell you it's probably an Eastern European scam.

it's a scam. search for scam on the boards - along with my name - and you'll see this has been brought up in the past.

ahh well guess i'll just have to get ma boss to pay up the full sum!!
what are your opinions on buying the software from e-bay??? ones that ensure that they are not copies of course? rekon they are scams too??

Domo Arigato!
I've sold software on eBay. As long as it is in the original shrink wrap and box, you probably aren't getting scammed.

Plus, if you get an OEM version on E-bay, you get a bonus piece of hardware (The seller is required to).
At least you can look forward to a free gift, even if it is a broken 5 1/4 drive.
