Animation Tutorial or sites PLEASE HELP

Hello,
I need a good tutorial for learning flash animation like the animation here. (http://www.homestarrunner.com)
Now I would like to do animation in flash like the emails. Click at the bottom if the screen "sb emails". And watch one. Then please point me to a great tuorial for learning that type of animation.!!!

If you want to animate, you need this book:
The Animator's Survival Kit

http://www.cartoonsmart.com/ has some good tutorials to learn now to use Flash for animation, they are in Quick Time format, so you follow him as he teaches you. Although you have to help support him - the tutorials cost money... But It's a good place to start from.

Depending on your current level of ability, it could take many years before you begin to approach the quality of animation of Homestar Runner - there is no substitute to practice, experimentation and general hard work.

Here are some basic tutorials. Definately the type to start with. Of course, this is assuming that you have the basic drawing skills. Otherwise, I can give you more links that deal with learning how to draw. Some of these should get you going.

Please someone please tell me a great tutorial for learning FLASH animation and drawing. I got the tutorials at freeflashtutorials.com and they were good but there huge so any more FREE ones would be nice!!!

I think that people here are getting a little suspicious. You have been given the best tutorial sites out there. If they are not enough, may we suggest you visit a bookstore. There are books that are specifically on Flash animation. If you know how to draw and you know how to use Flash, then there is not much else that you can will learn from the tutorials. Just what others have learned by trying. If you do not know how to draw or use Flash, then you need to start there.

If you have more specific questions about how to do something, then we will be glad to help. Make some effort first and show us what you have done and what you need help with.
