    Changing rollover area

    Hi,

I made a button symbol with a piece of text, but the rollover action is only activated when the mouse is over the text itself and not a wider area like I would like.

I have attached the file and I would be greatful if anyone could tell me how I can get the mouseover to work over a a square around the 'home' button instead of directly over the text. By the way, I'm aware that i've used quite a strange way to do the rollover, but it's what's needed to complete a project (this is just a little preliminary work).

    Thanks in advance,

    Matthew Dingley

double click on the button symbol
    go to the "hit" frame
highlight the hit frame>insert blank keyframe
make a box whatever size you want.
the box will be invisible, but wherever you put it the rollover frame will show up when you rollover the area where the box you created in the hit frame was.
