this is really hard to say, and I dont know what I can do.. but heres what happened i went on a porn site and I didnt read the terms of agreement, and they disconnected me and charged me 4.99 per minute on my phone bill, and I was on there for like 45 minutes although its hard to remember, so that would equal like $400.. I'm really scared and I dont know what to do, I screwed up big time. I dont think I can tell my parents about it, its just too hard.. I know I should tell her but.. i dont know.
Its $400 and I could never tell them I went on one of those sites, especially not for $400..
I guess it will be on the phone bill for this month (may).. what should i do?

do you have enough money to leave the country???

ok, so seriously, what i would do if i can afford it is pay the $400 or so and either make out that you got this e-mail that forwarded you to another site blah blah, or if they are highly forgiving parents, you could tell them the truth and apologise a lot.

But nice going, that's a good pickle you got yourself into.

are you under age? If you are then your parents might be able to get them to reverse the charges. I know in the gambling industry thats how it works anyway.

Well...........as my Greek Teacher used to say "Class, we is in a hotspots!"

Basically, your in a Hot Spot.........When the bill comes and your parents confront you about it you can do the following:

Weep like a baby and say that it wasnt you...might have been a mistake.

    -OR-

Weep like a baby and say you cant get any real.....Women and you feel insecure about your manhood

    -OR-

Weep like a baby and say the truth

    -OR-

Tell your mother it was really your father

    -OR-

    Join the circus

Phone bill? Ahh... I got Cable and dropped AT&T and got Verizon Wireless. Now I do all my calls through my cell.. But thats besides the point... What I would do IS tell my dad/mom that the stupid add thing through Kazaa (which I left running while I went to school to finish getting like, 100 songs) sent me to that site while I was at school and the moment I got home I closed it.. But there may arise some problems with you saying that.. i.e. your on dial-up (I guess?) and your parents may not be that stupid.. But that's what I would do. Or, I'd tell them I got linked over to it by accidently clicking on a pop up add and that the stupid site started opening 100's of pop up windows. I'd tell em it took me ATLEAST 45 minutes to close them all (cause they just kept on coming!! ) and that I didn't want to restart the computer cause it would hurt it. Blah Blah... But yeah, after I got the excuse out of the way, I'd try and get them to reverse the charges.

Tell them the truth. The truth has never hurt anybody. It's just the kicking, punching, screaming, and heart breaking that follows which hurts
oh yeah, and don't forget the flowers, chocolates, hugs and kisses...

Actually.....The mother will think that her son is a Preverted, pornographic child and she'll have a nervous break-down trying to figure where she went wrong.

The father will get mad cause he has to cough $400!

Dude, I feel for you. Been in the situation before.

Never had a 400 dollar bill though!

I would tell the truth. Your parents shouldn't think that you're a sicko after "1" incident.

With any luck you can get the charges reversed.

Then you parents will install some massive, pc-controlling filtering software that will drive you nuts.

They'll actually probably do this whether you lie or not.

I tried to lie about something like this before...it didn't work.

Knowing that, telling the truth will make you look better. Help calm there fears knowing that you were man enough to be honest about it.

    Good luck!

    expensive

thats gotta be the most expensive bash ive ever heard of. hope it was worth it. haha.

seriously though i think its a conspiracy.

have you noticed from these posts that there is a lot of talk about the circus... and the fact is there havent been that many about for a while.

so maybe they are wacking (no pun intended) the bills up so kids are forced to run away and join the circus.. hmm bit like chitty chitty bang bang and the kid snatcher.

'dont' join the circus! im sure its a set up.

hmm i need to get out more.

anyways i agree with the other post. your mum will think your a pervert, your dad will have to cough up 400 bucks and the rest of your family will never let you live it down.

oh, to be a kid again.... joy haha

    p.s good luck.

    ha ha, you kids.....

tell your mother the truth. she will think you a mucky child for a while but they'll get over it. your dad will probably be a bit miffed in having to cough up the cash but he'll see the funny side in time.

don't sweat it, millions of kids all over the world do stuff like this every day, your curious, just remember not to do it again.

45 minutes? ha ha, you really were curious weren't you?

i would just tell you parents the truth so that they can help get the $400 charge reversed. lying to my parents ALWAYS made things worse. plus, it's not like you got caught doing PCP or mugging old ladies - it's porn and you're a teenager...there is nothing 'abnormal' about that. they will hopefully be thankful you are not up to something worse, and you might even get brownie points for telling the truth.
