    Well my brain is fried and I still have a problem with zooming on a pan. I could babble on for the longest time and it would make less sense then if I were to get some rest and try to explain it again.

    Having said that please take a look at

    Just find Pee Wee and zoom in.

    Tks

    It is relatively difficult when we put two independent movieClips to zoom and keep them still stitched together seamlessly. I put these two clips together to single clip and scroll, zoom this clip. This scrolling technique can be found in FlashKit tutorial.

    I did not fix your code. I rewrite it.

    click save target as to download

    The other fast method is put scrolling landscape into a movieclip, make _x,_y change on the landscape but zoom on the outer clip.

    Indredible!

    I have to get a better actionscripting book or something. You have my thanks even though thank you seems too small for the excellent re-write you did.

    I noticed it would not play after loading unless the refresh button is pushed but after that it plays GREAT!

    I'll be looking at it in the morning.

    Tks again

    Possibly I got senile dementia now. Maybe it is poor sleep.

    Fix that preloader:if (loaded>=100){gotoAndStop(2);}

    After a few hours sleep then figuring out the pre-loader needed to go 100 I was going to tell you I found it but seems you beat me to it.

    I still don't believe how well you improved it when all I asked for is "which codes" I needed to be looking at.

    Your help was way above and beyond what it should have been.
