    Hi Swisher's,

Seen a few post's asking how to change the background colour in different scene's

Just use the wingdings font letter 'n'. Transform the scale so that it fits your page. Then just select the colour for the font. Always make sure that the 'n' is at the bottom of your scene stacking order.

You can also acheive some interesting fade's using this method.

    Here's an example...

    and here's the .swi...

    Enjoy!

    Rich,
this is a question which has been popping up at least since I entered the forum and is probably a good candidate for bobwoodward's FAQ. Nice little demo BTW.

    zankye1,
no neigbor. I was just taking a vocation. I thought, everybody has taken some time off, why not.
Did you finish that site, you showed to me, before?
    Cheers, Sergei
P.S. It's getting colder in Toronto, isn't it? Some people complain, but I like it.

    zankye1,
it looks good, man. Just index2.html is not centered. It's shifted to the left on 800X600.
Very fast. A pleasure to go from one cable to another.

    In your faq you have

    "SWiSH Related Websites

    1.www.shishzone.com "

You might want to change that ..

And if you are after some other stuff for your faq
    check out http://blurb.net/blurb.zip

It has my blurb font (with center rotating objects)
an example swi of background fades, drop shadows,
my gear effect from my "sensational demo" and a
rolling star effect. The swi was created for
version .9 but should still be of some use.
The swi is more of a tutorial so some other people
    may find it of interest.

Note: the font won't install on windows 2000 (no idea why)

    cheers

    blurb,
hats off to you. You should come here more often.

Ivanopulo thanks for the kind words ..
Im often here but never have the time to post.

I wish I had more time to spend on swish now that it
does all the things I asked for in version .7

I had my 15 seconds of fame back when my sensational demo was
used for a review of swish in a australian design magazine.

If I ever find the time I will redo my demo and release the swi
I would have released it sooner but it has so many non-standard fonts
that I modified in someway it would have been a nightmare
    to work out.

    cheers
