Thanks Everyone!!!
Especially those who picked mine
Six hours of animation and scripting went into the making of it, (though it was not intended initially for my footer as the animation will be appearing elsewhere this October)

Call me curious... is the background of your footer transparent? Or is it just matching one of the background shades of yellow, in which case it would appear to have a subtle background 50% of the time?
More to the point, though, great job. Boffo!
-
congrats
Good job rosie! Keep up the good work!

The background is a fixed colour, I just have to time my posts right to get the best effect!

Rosie's footer
Actually, since I've seen Rosie's footer a few days ago, that stick-figure character that was used keeps showing up at my work and at my school. Many times he is shown in a different position. But it's the same figure and unforgetable large nose every time. I'm wondering if this was a clip art image, that didn't require any animation rendering, but just the importation of the several clip-art images. Any thoughts?

In my defence
every frame of animation was done by hand.
each body part is a seperate symbol
1 head
1 nose
2 bodies
2 thighs
2 calfs
4 feet
2 hands
2 upper arms
2 forearms
to peer around the corner their are 29 frames
to cycle one complete step there are 28 frames
to stop and wave randomly there are 29 frames
and to pull my logo theree is a 19 frame cycle
that is 106 individually animated frames (no clip art in the world would give you that much art)
all screen positioning is done by actionscripting across 5 frames in the main time line
actrionscripting is used for movement as to just tween the waliking across the screen would require 47k whereas the whole sequence scripted is under 19k.
In regards to the clipart I have since seen this badly drawn similar character you refer to, (zoom in to my banner and compare the quality) my character is not the same, and is in fact a poser character from zygote called walter, which I use to determine posistioning before I draw and animate in Flash.
In conclusion I never used or would use clipart, all the animation is my own and payed for by my employers. The original sequence took over 6 hours to complete (all animation is time intensive) but as it is modular and scripted it took less than a hour to convert it to a banner, click through on the link and you will see some more of my scripted animation

Thanks for that input, I just have one last question. Did you get the figure idea from somewhere? I've seen him before. I guess I'm the only one asking these questions because i was runner-up. Sorry to nag you.

The figure is a poser .obj that I bought from zygote.com
It unfortunately is also very similar to the bean clipart in powerpoint
